YO! I'ma going on vacation!
Yeah, I know it's technically "summer vacation" already, but I am finally going somewhere.
Every year we have a family reunion, lovingly named "The Mauler", where my mom's side of the family comes up for July 4th. We leave TOMORROW!!
YAY!!
It's great. We always put together a play (extremely amateur, but still) and that's always a ton of fun. We have marshmallow gun fights and light fireworks. There is also a beach, outdoor pool, indoor pool with hot-tub, and tennis courts. We stay in beautiful condos and normally get very sunny days.
The lower point in the Mauler is that one of my uncles thinks its fun to have races... I am not a physical person, so it's not my favorite... we do a three-mile, one-mile, 100-yard dash, 50-yard dash, and play a game of kickball. Man, I hope I'm on lunch duty that day....
